The Twinkle Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) charitable foundation which funds breast cancer research and education programs dedicated to understanding the links between the environment and breast cancer.
We believe there must be a reason that one out of every seven women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer, a dramatic increase from 40 years ago. With all the hard work and millions of dollars put into fighting breast cancer (primarily detection and treatment), it remains the most common cancer among women, and the leading cause of death in women 24-45.
Unfortunately, very little research has been focused on prevention. And what work has been done has been scattered and inconclusive. That’s where The Twinkle Foundation comes in: We want to find answers to the ongoing question “why me?”
